One of them is gold plated with semi-precious stones. The other one is flash plated with glass beads.<\/p><p>All our gold plated pieces have been dipped in a 18k gold bath of 0.5 to 2 micron and lacquered by an electrolytic coating process. This means the biggest part of our collection is hypoallergenic. If you take care of our products, the gold plating will last a long time. Do not use a polishing cloth as this will strip away the plating.
